Consumer Protection Washington shares the latest fraud prevention information with workshop attendees:
- How to identify, prevent, and report financial fraud.
- How to verify whether a charity is registered with the Secretary of State as required by law.
- What you can do to prevent scammers from taking your money.
- What to do if you think you’ve been scammed or compromised.
In addition to their presentation, the presenters bring a wide variety of printed resources providing information on how to avoid identity theft, investment fraud, charity scams, and more.
